Oxygen Flutes a Sound Art Installation by Leonel Vasquez. This was part of "Droputs" an exhibition at "La Galeria" in Bogota. These flutes create a cluster like sound and beatings. Each flute has different length although width is the same on all. On the original installation, sound on all flutes is triggered by pressure on an oxygen tank. In this case the artists and other performers are manually playing the flutes. The oxygen metaphor has to do with oxygen as essential for "livelyness".
